The Cytokine Plurality, Book Website

How does a new author generate buzz about the launch of a first book? Social media is only half the answer. You can Tweet, post on Facebook, upload videos on Youtube, and fill your LinkedIn profile with announcements. But if you are unknown, these posts need to link back to a website that introduces you to potential readers. I worked with this new author to design a site that showcases his new detective novel. In addition to excerpts and reviews, I suggested adding an Author’s Q and A. This allowed him to explain his motivation for writing the book and talk about some of its key features as well as add keyword to help SEO. I also created a collage (below) of some of the key moments in the book, allowing the viewer to instantly get a sense of the book’s intrigue.
