Seashell, Encaustic Wax

Encaustic wax is an ancient painting technique using pigment mixed with beeswax and damar resin. This seashell encaustic wax painting is based on an earlier illustration I did in Procreate on my iPad.  The wax was fused using a heat gun and a tiny craft iron.
