Linocut, Handsome Dan

When my son was accepted into Yale in 2018, it was the year the school got a new Handsome Dan—the bulldog that serves as Yale’s mascot.  On Bulldog Days—when accepted students visit campus—I took a pic of the puppy. When I got into linocut later in the year, I carved Handsome’s Dan’s likeness based on that photo.   I made some prints and also put it on a t-shirt and some hand sewn bags.
