Watermelon Earrings

My watermelon earrings make me think of summer.  You would never guess I made them in a freezing cold January while we were on sabbatical in Princeton, New Jersey. Living in an 18th century house where the heat gave out and the pipes froze, I dreamed of my hometown, sunny So CA.  These are made from Polymer clay canes I made, beads and wire.  Love em. I made lots of other tropical fruit out of polymer clay that winter.
